Ishwariya Park, Rajkot Overview

Ishwariya Park is a popular place to visit, which is located in the city of Rajkot. It was opened in 2008, the inauguration of which was done by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi. Ever since the beautiful park has attracted a lot of people. The 77 acres park has a vast lake where boating can be enjoyed. Although the lake almost gets drained during summers, it is flourishing and full during winters. From Monday to Saturday, the park is open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
On Sundays, the park is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The park remains closed on Tuesday.

Entry Fee: The entry fee is INR 20 for adults and INR 10 for children.

Ishwariya park is an ideal picnic spot for families and friends with a golf course within the area. It also has a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva called as the Ishwariya Mahadev, where people offer prayers. Within the park, there are several walking and jogging tracks for adults and playground for children. The most captivating part of the park is the musical fountain which is lit up at night adding on to the beauty of the park. There is a golf course and a lake at its premises where one can spend time playing or engage in boating activities.

The best time to visit the park would be between the months of October and February when the climate is airy and pleasant. Considering the open space in the park, visiting it during summers can be really tiring and vexatious as the humidity is at a peak during that time. Also, boating cannot be enjoyed during summers as the lake gets drained.
