Parwanoo Reviews

4 weeks ago by Aman Sandhu

My whole family visits Nada Sahib once in a week. It's around 11 km from my place. On the eve of Guru Nanak's Birthday when Devotee's count gets double as compared to any normal day, here's how they prepare Langar for the devotees. I shot this video myself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMIeUrJlaMo

- A good pair of shoes are a must as you will be doing a lot of walking around the city.
- Parwanoo experiences strong winds and rain, so be prepared with your woolens and rain gears accordingly.
- Make sure you stay away from monkeys, do not try to offer food or scare them.

  What's Great?

Lies very close to Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Shimla, hence it is easily accessible.

  What's not so Great?

Nothing much to do around the city. Being an industrial area, it is very crowded.

For Whom

Parwanoo is perfect for weekend getaways from Panchkula and Chandigarh.
