Accommodation is available at affordable prices. Palampur is a very good alternative to Dharamshala. Weather is pleasant all around the year.

The Palampur zoo has become a very popular attraction of the hill town, due to which a lot of people travel to Palampur and are ruining the natural beauty of the zoo. Over the period of time, it has become a bit commercialized.
