A small museum located just north of Orlando, in Winter Park Florida, Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Garden is a historic site set on a three-acre land facing Lake Osceola. This landmark is home to Albin Polasek - a late Czech-American sculptor. The museum is known for featuring and preserving the artworks, photographs, and sculptures in the garden created by Polasek. The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Garden offers guided tours, showcases short videos explaining the property’s history, and also gives a better understanding of why Polasek created all the sculptures. These sculptures depict Polasek’s story at different times in his lifetime. The land on which the museum sits also covers a chapel and his home that are open to the public.
