This small museum celebrates the life of French bacteriologist Dr Alexandre Yersin. The museum was founded in 1999, and is located within his former home in Nha Trang. Yersin discovered the microbe that causes the Bubonic plague, and was instrumental in bringing rubber and quinine medicine to the Vietnamese. The photographs, letters, laboratory equipment and dioramas offer a fascinating glimpse into his life.
