The Frick Collection, New York City Overview

Founded in 1935, The Frick Collection will have its first renovation to reopen at the Frick Madison in early 2021. It was among the first museums offering virtual tours during 1998 and the tickets cost around USD 12-22.

The current location in Henry Clay Frick House on Manhattan’s Upper East Side is temporarily closed and the collection of the industrialist named Henry Clay Frick will be on display in the new location. Apart from the temporary exhibitions, the permanent collection of high-quality old master paintings, fine furniture from 19 galleries, paintings from renowned European artists, French furniture, Oriental rugs, porcelain materials, sculptures and Limoges enamel work are noteworthy. You will also find ceramics, textiles, antique clocks, silverware, medals and paper media in the collection. The acclaimed series of concerts will be a great attraction along with the extensive range of symposia, lectures and the educational and research programs to garner interest in the permanent collection.
