Tokoname Pottery Footpath, Nagoya Overview
One of the six ancient kiln towns of Japan, and the one that makes the red clay teapots and most of the country's lucky cats. The footpath is a 1.6 km loop past workshops, brick chimneys and walls built out of discarded kiln pipes, and it is free and open at any hour. Thirty minutes direct from Meitetsu Nagoya, one stop short of the airport.
