Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, Nagoya Overview
One of Japan's largest aquariums, spread over two buildings with around 500 species and particular depth on Antarctic and deep-sea life. It sits at the end of the Meiko subway line, about half an hour out from the centre. Worth knowing before you go: the rest of Garden Pier, including the Port Building and the Antarctic ship Fuji, is closed until the end of November 2026.
