Pantai Klebang, Melaka Overview

Pantai Klebang is a popular Melaka beach near 1 Malaysian Square. The beach is well known for its white sand dunes and is a perfect backdrop for photographs. It is great for fun-filled family activities such as horse riding, flying kites, and enjoying the beautiful beach.

Sand Dunes of Pantai Klebang

The 10m to 20m high sand dunes at Klebang Beach are a result of the unfinished developments in the area. The beach was originally envisioned to be a beachfront surrounded by several resorts. Hhowever, due to the instability of the area and groundwork, the project was called off. This left several dunes on the beach which are also known as the White Sand Dunes of Melaka.

The sand dunes are a perfect backdrop for photographers and Instagrammers which make it a popular attraction on the beach. Visitors can also be seen climbing the dunes while having fun with family and friends. Since there is no shade on the beach, visitors are recommended to wear hiking sandals and carry a sunblock.

How to Reach Klebang Beach

Pantai Klebang Beach is located 13km from the Melaka Airport. Visitors can take a taxi to the beach or use the ‘Grab’ app to book a cheaper ride.

The only bus which stops near Pantai Klebang is Bus- 503; the beach is in a walkable distance from there.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Pantai Klebang is during the evening hours, as visitors can spend time at the beach with a pleasant climate while watching the spectacular sunset.
