Saadian Tombs, Marrakech Overview
These entrancing tombs, once an unnoticed backyard, are now a major tourist attraction. Thanks to the aerial photography that uncovered this hidden marvel in the city. The glorious tombs have now been restored with the impeccable tile work, to attract several tourists from the world.
Established in the late sixteenth century, The tombs were well appreciated till the downfall of Saadian dynasty, after which, they were left neglected and unnoticed. However, the tombs have been fully revamped now. The most important of all the tombs is 'The Hall of the Twelve Columns' and is visited by every traveller in the city.
