Cap de Pera Lighthouse, Majorca Overview

The Cap de Pera Lighthouse is situated atop a cliff facing the horizon-kissing blue sea in Punta de Capdepera in the eastern most part of Majorca. The lighthouse offers majestic views of both the water and the surrounding landscape and is also emblematic of Mallorca.

Besides the round lighthouse tower many buildings also sit adjacent to it. Standing atop the lighthouse resting on steep and sharp rocky terrain facing the seemingly infinite blue you feel like you’re at the end of the world. The lighthouse can be reached easily via bicycle, car or on foot and is situated on the Punta de Capdepera. Reaching a height of about 55 metres.the Cap de Pera lighthouse if often referred to as “The symbol of 19th century”. The Cap de Pera lighthouse was built in the eastern-most point of Mallorca and was taken into service in 1861.
