Gautam Buddha Park, Kanpur Overview

Gautam Buddha Park is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Kanpur. It is located on the way to the IIT campus and falls in between the Bara Imambara and Martyrs Memorial, Indira Nagar. A great picnic option, Buddha Park is also best suited for evening walks, jogging, public and political gatherings.

With the park entrance leading into a white dome supported by four pillars roofing the idol of Gautam Buddha, the park carries out an archaic traditional architectural style. Besides being housed within the premises of lush greenery the park also hosts a canal that cites the perfect boating spot. The best time to experience this serenity is from October to March.
