Meenmutty Falls, Kalpetta Overview

Located 29 km away from Kalpetta in Wayanad district, Meenmutty waterfalls is considered as one of the largest waterfalls in the Kalpetta region and the second largest in Kerala. The second tier can be reached by trekking about 500 m through steps built over boulders. The trek runs parallel to the downstream river and offers beautiful views of the stream and thick vegetation. The trek to the third tier is the most difficult as it requires some walking through the flow on slippery rocks. There are ropes present to aid the walk. The walk up this tier is steep in some places and takes about 10-15 mins to trek up this 500. Best Time To Visit Meenmutty Falls

The best time to visit is from October to May as the summers in the region can be quite hot and humid that might spoil your fun and the monsoon can be dangerous because of high inflow of water and slippery rocks. Thus, it's best to visit Meenmutty Falls during the winter and the spring months.
