Ratna Sagar Temple, Janakpur Overview

Ratna Sagar Temple in Janakpur is dedicated to Lord Ram and his consort, Goddess Sita. The tall shikhara-style temple is surrounded by a garden and a sacred tank of the same name, one of the dozens of ponds that give Janakpur its 'City of Ponds' name. It sits within walking distance of Janaki Mandir and Ram Mandir, so most visitors take all three in one circuit.
