Anjanadri Hill, Hampi Overview

Anjaneya Hill, also known as Anjanadri Hill, is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman and is one of the most famous spots around Hampi. Perched atop a hill near Anegundi, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Tungabhadra River, lush paddy fields, and the boulder-strewn Hampi landscape.

Climbing the 575 steps to reach the top of Anjaneya Hill is an experience in itself, and once you reach, you’re rewarded with incredible views that make the effort worthwhile. You’ll find a whitewashed Hanuman temple at the summit, where devotees gather to pay respects.
