More on Faridabad

Faridabad is also famous for its 15-day annual Surajkund International Crafts Mela. Since its inception in 1987, the Surajkund Mela is widely flocked by art connoisseurs and enthusiasts to witness the colourful traditional craft festival of India. It is organised in the month of February (Feb 1-15) every year. This fair exhibits the great artworks of the artisans from different states of the country. In other words, we can say that the whole country unites in one ground to celebrate its diverse ethnicity and art. You can not only buy these artefacts but can also have a look at how they are created, as some of the artisans work on their masterpieces then and there. There are a lot many things beyond art or artefacts that are to be seen. Cultural programmed, tempting food from all the states of India, camel rides, folk dance and music are a few things to experience

There are several food joints which serve luscious north Indian food. You can find out some food stalls serving Rajma chawal, chhole bhature, chhole chawal at a nominal cost and the taste is par brilliance. Faridabad being situated in north India is not limited to only north Indian food. You can easily find restaurants serving Gujrati dishes, Chinese, chaat, continental, Mughlai food and several others
