The famous Teesta Tea and Tourism Festival can also be witnessed during the time. It is celebrated between November and December as an independent tourism festival. During the time, the West Bengal government, in collaboration with the Indian Railways, run special trains connecting Dooars to Cooch Behar and Siliguri.
