Katara Art Center, Doha Overview
The Katara Art Center is located in the Katara Cultural Village in Doha and is devoted to contemporary art and trans-disciplinary creative endeavors. Founded in 2012, this Art Center leads in strengthening the cultural history of Qatar through modern art. New artists are encouraged to showcase their works through contests and exhibitions at the gallery. The exhibition space is a whopping 1,000 square meters in size. The Katara Art Gallery is a space where all artists can come together to exchange ideas in addition to hosting exhibitions since it frequently hosts conferences and workshops.
