Kassiopi Castle

Kassiopi Castle, Corfu Overview

Overseeing the fishing village of Kassiopi, on the northeastern coast of Corfu island, lies Kassiopi Castle. The castle was once a part of the defensive triangle along with two others named Gardiki and Angelokastro. Tourists visit this place for the Venetian architecture, breathtaking views of the village, and the port of Kassiopi.

Kassiopi Castle was dismantled in 1386 by the Venetians and was not repaired or maintained for a long time. Keeping the originality of the castle intact, it was partly restored during modern times.
