Richard Gary Gallery, Chicago Overview

Richard Gary Gallery was established back in 1963 and was named after its late founder, local art dealer Richard Gray, who is best known for his role in helping the Field Museum secure Sue the T. rex. After its inception, this gallery became one of Chicago’s most notable art galleries that hosted rotating exhibitions by artists, who were into art with paint and sculptures. Some of the renowned artists that have showcased their work at the gallery include Josef Albers, Roy Lichtenstein, Mark Rothko, Robert Rauschenberg and Pablo Picasso.
