Bogatell Beach

Located between Nova Icària Beach and Mar Bella Beach, Bogatell Beach sits opposite the Poblenou neighbourhood.The beach is about 702 meters long and known for its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and beachside eateries.

Bogatell beach offers many sports areas and entertainment year-round. A few meters adjacent walk through the coastline, Nova Icària Beach and Port Olímpic Barcelona are located. Shoreside restaurants at the beach offer traditional dishes like Arroz Caldoso, paella, and fideuà, a regional twist on paella that features noodles instead of rice. Flavourful fish and seafood dishes are also widespread, with freshly caught and locally sourced ingredients, from fresh fish dishes grilled over open flames to fried squid in the Andalusian style. Facilities such as adapted showers, children's games area, and lifeguard service are available.  It was redeveloped in the '90s when all of the city's coastline was rehabilitated. Furthermore, the Olympic Barcelona held in 1992 resulted in an urban planning scheme for the beach.
