Casa Vicens Gaudi, Barcelona Overview

Casa Vicens is a modernist building designed by Antoni Gaudí, nestled in the Gràcia neighborhood in Barcelona. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is the first architectural work of Antoni Gaudi, flaunting Moorish influences & an extended corner tower.

The construction work of this grand four-story house ran from 1883 to 1885. It is a simple yet glorious work by Gaudi in Barcelona. In 2014, MoraBanc acquired Casa Vicens, and intensively renovated the house thereafter. Finally, after serving as a private home for around 130 years, it was opened to the public in 2017. On your visit to this location, you can walk through the entire monumental compound, including the interior of the building and the garden. Enjoy experiencing the intricate details of the house that are flawlessly restored. Gaudi incorporated all of the skills he had learned with his experimentation to create exceptional decor influenced by Mozarabic and oriental designs and a setting that is worth a visit.
