Single-entry visas allow tourists to stay in the country for a maximum duration of 30 days. For urgent requirements, you can apply for an urgent visa that can be processed within 3 hours.

The total payment to be made for a standard visa is 25 USD which includes a 5-dollar service fee. However, the cost of an urgent visa is 60 dollars, including the service fee of 40 dollars. The paid amount is non-refundable in case of rejection or cancellation. You can make your payment only via Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay cards. The card doesn’t necessarily have to be in the applicant’s name.

Duration of stay

An e-visa is valid for a total of 90 days from the date of issuance. However, the stay period with a single entry visa cannot exceed 30 days. If you are planning to stay in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days, you must be registered at the place of residence with the State Migration Service. In case of emergencies, if you wish to extend your stay, you are required to apply for the extension of the temporary staying period or issuance of a temporary residence permit.

The e-visa system has revolutionized the visa application process for Azerbaijan, making it easier and more accessible for travelers to visit this beautiful country. By understanding the eligibility criteria, and adhering to important guidelines, travelers can obtain their e-Visa with ease and embark on an unforgettable journey to Azerbaijan.
