Beds were old with worn out springs. Restaurant will force you to buy the buffet dinner package instead of ala Carte menu.

Wonderful stay at good location with all amenities.

Breakfast buffet was good. We ordered a-la carte for dinner and the food was prepared nicely. Rooms were clean and room service was good. It is quite close to the centre of the city without all the hassle or noise.

Car parking could have been better. The hotel is in a narrow street, so it tends to be a bit tricky to get a proper parking spot especially since this hotel and the neighbouring hotel are popular with tourists.

Overall it was good.

Breakfast was good as was location. Staff were friendly, helpful and patient under the circumstances and limitations. The limitations are the broader environment in Kashmir which has a long way to go before it can be considered good or normal . Right now it isn't. This is not within the control of the individual property, it's management or staff.

I think our exceptions based on Booking.com pictures of the property were greater than the ground reality.

Center of the city next to Jhelum. Cosy, friendly staff, huge shower area, comfy sofa, big room.

Food wasnt great but wasnt bad either. Sometimes you hear people from other rooms or partying below. But it was all quiet after 12am. Lots of static if you use the AC in the dry September weather, room needs humidifier.
