What is the history of England?

England is a country with a long history. Julius Caesar conquered it in 55 BC. Roman Emperor Hadriad built the Hadrian's wall to keep the country safe from northern Britain. Eventually the Romans left the land and moved on. The Anglo Saxons invaded Britain in 449 AD and named it Angle Land. King Arthur ruled the country and following that, the crown eventually went to the hands of the son of Ethelred William who was then crowned the king. There were frequent tussles for power. After that, it played a part in the two world wars, following which it is now the present day England. It is one of the top countries in the world.
