Our trip covering Pushkar, Jaipur, Ranthambore and Jaisalmer was organised by Mo (Read More)hit Kaushal wonderfully. Mohit is a great guy, very responsive to all our needs and a real go-to person. Glad to have encountered somebody who is so professional. The accommodation provided in the various locations were quite good. These included Pushkar Fort, Ranthambore Pride, Fern Residency in Jaipur, Desert drop resort and hotel Sairafort in Jaisalmer. All the hotels were clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was included in our package for all days and our group found it to be consistently good quality. We booked a Tempo traveller for the entire trip, which proved to be a boon, as we had ample luggage with us. Parvat Singh, the driver for the 1st leg of our trip, was very helpful. He was available all the time, whenever we needed him. Our thanks to him for a comfortable trip. Also, quite knowledgeable about the history of the various places and of Hindu mythology too. We did have a tempo traveller for the 2nd leg of our trip in Jaisalmer too. The driver was Madan. There were some gaps in his communication with our group, which I will detail in the next section. The tour itinerary for most part was strictly followed. Only in Jaisalmer, we did have few small changes like visit to Sand Museum and War Museum, which our members liked.
Soon after we landed in Jaisalmer, our driver Madan said that his boss told him (Read More)that the program has changed and that we will be staying in a hotel in Jaisalmer city instead of Desert Drop resort per itinerary. We had a talk with his boss also who gave some story about power not being available at Sam Dunes. It got resolved only after we got Mohit involved in the discussion. On the next day, when we wanted to stop at the Sand Museum, Madan insisted there was no such place, though we told him that we had seen it on the way. Finally, when it did arrive, he was surprised (to Madan’s defence, the museum was very new and was only 2 days old). Later in the evening too, we had to get Mohit’s help to get Madan to take us to the War Museum which we liked very much.

Unforgettable Jaisalmer Experience I recently booked my Jaisalmer tour with (Read More)Tripta Holidays (Ms Aarti), and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish! The entire trip was perfectly organized — from the hotel arrangements to the desert safari, every detail was well taken care of. The team was extremely professional, polite, and always ready to help. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about Jaisalmer’s history, culture, and architecture. The highlight of the trip was the Sam Sand Dunes Desert Safari — watching the sunset over the golden sands, followed by a beautiful cultural evening with folk music and dance, was simply magical! The camel ride, jeep safari, and traditional Rajasthani dinner were all top-notch. I truly appreciate the company’s attention to comfort, safety, and hospitality. If you’re planning to visit Jaisalmer, I highly recommend Tripta Holidays for a smooth, memorable, and authentic desert experience.

Agent: Offbeat India Tours

Brad • 2 weeks ago

I’m had originally planned to drive a package tour but was referred to Offbeat I (Read More)ndia Tours via Holidify. Prakash and the team worked with me to develop a personalised itinerary including car transport, hotels and tour guides across 16 days which we were able to iterate until we designed do the perfect itinerary. Importantly the final price including 5 Star accommodation was incredibly competitive and significantly below the price of similar itineraries with larger group tour operators. In addition we had a driver, Monu , who was absolutely exceptional and made each days drive between each of our destinations both safe, engaging and enjoyable Definitely an Agency to place high on your list
Nothing particularly

I wish the driver knew the places we visited a bit better; it would’ve made the (Read More)experience much nicer. Otherwise, our vacation was good.

Rajasthan Travel Essentials

Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Rajasthan is from October to March, when the weather is cool and pleasant (8°C to 28°C), ideal for exploring forts, palaces, and deserts. November to February is peak season, especially for Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer. April to June is hot (up to 40°C), but great for shorter trips or luxury stays. July to September sees brief monsoon showers, which make Udaipur and Mount Abu particularly scenic.

Ideal Duration & Popular Itineraries
Rajasthan holidays usually last 7 to 10 days, often covering multiple heritage cities. Popular formats include:

  • 7 Days: Jaipur → Jodhpur → Udaipur circuit.
  • 8 Days: Jaipur → Bikaner → Jaisalmer → Jodhpur desert loop.
  • 10 Days: Combines Jaipur → Pushkar → Jodhpur → Jaisalmer → Udaipur for a complete royal experience.

Top Things to Do

  • Attend the Pushkar Camel Fair or visit the Brahma Temple
  • Visit Bikaner’s Junagarh Fort and Karni Mata Temple (Rat Temple)
  • Explore Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s hill station, and Dilwara Temples
  • Shop for textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts in local bazaars

FAQs on Rajasthan Tour Packages

How can I plan for 6 days in Rajasthan?

A six-day trip to Rajasthan helps plan the trip properly and explore more places altogether. Day one is the arrival at the Pink City-Jaipur and the sightings in and around Jaipur. Tourists can visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jaipur Jantar Mantar. On Day-2 and 3, tourists can visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Jaisalmer, best known for the camel safari and the famous Jaisalmer fort. On days 4 and 5, tourists can visit Udaipur and Jodhpur. Jodhpur houses the famous Mehrangarh fort, whereas Udaipur nestles beautiful lakes such as Pichola, Fatehsagar, and Swaroop Sagar. Day-6 spend some time shopping the local handicrafts, artworks, etc.

Why should I visit Rajasthan?

Known for its grandeur, rich culture, and history makes Rajasthan a prime tourist place in India. There are several reasons to visit Rajasthan at least once. The ancient palaces, forts, the UNESCO heritage sites, the heritage hotels, Wildlife parks all culminate in Rajasthan being a perfect tourist spot.

Which time is best for Rajasthan tour?

October to February is the perfect time for a Rajasthan tour.
Rajasthan has pleasant weather during these months. It is primarily the winter season in Rajasthan. In winters, it is easier for tourists to roam throughout the day to explore the numerous palaces, forts, and temples in Rajasthan.

How many days are required for Rajasthan tour?

If you are planning on touring Rajasthan, you would need at least 5-6 days to explore the popular destinations like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Mount Abu, Jaisalmer, etc. Of course, you can spend 10-15 days too if you wish to explore more. There will be sufficient time to visit the famous tourist attractions like the majestic Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal and City Palace in Jaipur. You can also see the beautiful Jal Mahal and Galtaji Temple. When you visit Udaipur, the “City of Lakes,” you can go to Lake Pichola or Jaisamand Lake, tour City Palace, walk around in Saheliyon ki Bari etc. In Jailasmer, you would get to go for a desert safari on a camel or jeep, stay overnight in a tent in the desert, go to the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, watch the sunset at Gadisar Lake etc.

Which is more beautiful Jaipur or Udaipur?

Udaipur is definitely more beautiful since it is home to numerous picturesque lakes.
