Botanical Garden Grüningen, Zurich Overview
The Botanical Garden Gruningen is a natural spring garden located very near the ancient town of Gruningen. One of the two popular botanical gardens in Zurich, the enchanting garden features indigenous and floral species of 16 different plants.
A part of what makes the garden exotic is the variety of medicinal plants, herbal trees, rose bushes, and native ferns. First Sundays are the best time to visit the garden because various free guided tours, meditation sessions, and photography workshops are conducted on that day. It was founded in 1961.
