Callinico Winery Museum

Callinico Winery Museum is part of a family-run traditional winery located in the small village of Kalipado in Zakynthos. The museum charts the nuanced process of wine production and bottling throughout history. Visitors can take a private tour of the winery and visit the vineyards, cellars, and the famous winery museum. They can also get an in-depth understanding of the modern wine-making process and a real wine-tasting experience. Taking a scenic nature walk across the lush green vineyards is a must.

Antiques, traditional tools, wooden wine barrels, and original machinery once used to produce wine are on display in the museum. The winery was destroyed during the infamous 1953 earthquake. It is now restored and produces more than 12 varieties of wines under the fourth generation of the family. The Zante water village, the little farm, and the Church of Saint Peter are a short distance from the museum.
