Kalibiru is a community-run forest in the Menoreh hills with wooden platforms built into the treetops, looking down over the Sermo reservoir and out towards the coast. There is a flying fox and a high rope course for anyone who wants more than the view. It is the furthest of the viewpoints from the city, about ninety minutes west, so it suits a day built around Kulon Progo rather than a quick evening run.
