Katiki Waterfalls, Visakhapatnam Overview

Katiki Falls originates from River Gosthani about 90 kilometres from Visakhapatnam. The waterfall is located near the Borra Caves and is a famous attraction for picnickers and nature lovers. How To Reach Katiki Waterfalls

Private vehicles or auto-rickshaws are the best modes of transport to reach the point where one can park the vehicles and either take a paid jeep ride or traverse by foot. The route leading to the parking point goes via Araku - Visakhapatnam road and Sabbavaran road. The local jeep drivers charge around INR 200 per person to take tourists to the point where they can trek for about 25 minutes to reach the waterfall.

Best Time To Visit Katiki Waterfalls

Tourists should try to reach as early as possible in the day to get enough daylight to explore the waterfall. September to February is the best time to visit the waterfall as the forest is lush green, the weather stays cool and dry throughout the day, making the climb up to the waterfall pleasant.
