The enchanting Snehatheeram Beach has won awards for its wonderful maintenance by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation. Being amongst the most beautiful beaches in Kerala and Thrissur, it was chosen as the Best Beach Tourism Destination in 2010 by Kerala's department of tourism. The beach is the only one which has a park that is dedicated to kids. The entry charges for the park are very nominal since it is maintained by the government (INR 3 for kids and INR 5 for adults).

The park also has a variety of marine flora and fauna which appears attractive to the kids. The dreamy garden and the curvy paved pathway is what attracts the attention of the adults to the beach. Even those people who are not very fond of beaches like to come here and spend some peaceful time. There are numerous fine-dining options by the beach where one can easily spend time at while experiencing the sunset view.

The Snehatheeram Beach is very well-connected by all means of transport. You can reach here after an hour's drive from the airport. Situated at a distance of 3 km from the beach, you can reach here by taking the local transport or taking a private cab.
