I was hurt and mentally wounded inside the temple. I am 60 years senior, a teacher in profession. I regret to say that last year I took a visit to the temple along with my wife, who is also a teacher (Read More) and my daughter. I purchased a ticket for special darshan by paying Rs. 500. I saw poojaris were busy with taking care of only those who are performing special, special poojas paying more, I think. They are not even free to do archanas in our names. One who is a guard an rude idiot in side the temple shouting with us and all the other devotees even not allow to sit in front of goddess. I was disappointed of the behaviours, mannerism and humanlessness there. That too in front of sharadambha, the goddess of education. At last we came out for darshan of shankaracharya idol, where the poojari after mangalarathi, served us theertha and flowers. The flower was old and dried up one. What is this? Shankaracharya a great sage, philosopher, and founder of sringeri mutt thought the adwaitha phylosophy to the world. At last I request the management to take discilinary action against those who are spoiling the name and fame of the goddess and her disciple. After this incident I have not made up my mind to visit again.
