Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Srinagar Overview
Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, in the foothills of the Zabarwan range overlooking Dal Lake, is the largest tulip garden in Asia. It's home to 48 varieties of tulips along with daffodils, hyacinths and irises, and its Tulip Festival, usually held from late March to mid-April, is the biggest draw.
The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is spread across seven terraces and is built in a sloping ground fashion. The Tulip Festival organised here is an annual event arranged by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir during the onset of the spring season (between March and May).
