The length of the beach is 1.5 kms and it is flat and straight and clear. The Ratnagiri light house and the famous Madavi beach of Ratnagiri city can be seen from Bhatye Beach.

Road: The distance between Mumbai and Ratnagiri is 356 kms. State Transport buses are available from Mumbai, Kolhapur and Pune to Ratnagiri and also form Ratnagiri to Pawas via Bhatye.
