Orussey Market

Orussey Market is the central place for people of Phnom Penh and other cities to buy all kinds of essential items, especially in bulk. A large building painted in white and blue; the market is a prominent landmark in the city. 

The famous sections among the locals include the ground floor selling electronic goods, hardware,  garden tools, accessories, spare machine parts, watches, video games, toys and radio. Household products like furniture, crockery and utensils are also sold here. 

The first and second floors have shops selling clothes, jewellery and other fabrics. Compared to other markets in Phnom Penh, electronic goods are cheapest in Orussey Market. There are fewer options for buying souvenirs in this market for tourists. Hence it is recommended to shop in other markets if you are specifically looking for souvenirs.

There is a wet market area selling freshly procured seafood, meat, poultry, vegetables and fruits. Bargaining is expected from the sellers as they usually quote higher prices for the tourists.
