Kota Darul Ehsan is a ceremonial archway marking the boundary between Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, raised in 1974 after the capital was ceded to federal control. Two tiered pavilion-style towers flank the road and are lit after dark. There is nowhere to stop safely on the highway itself, so most people see it in passing on the way into or out of the city rather than as a destination in its own right.
Kota Darul Ehsan is a row of arches that marks the boundary between PJ, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The arches have been built using elements of Moorish architecture. It also has 2 canons on either side.
