Secret Garden Utama, Petaling Jaya Overview
Situated in the 1 Utama Shopping Centre of Petaling Jaya, the Secret Garden is regarded as one of the largest rooftop gardens of the world. This garden sprawls across an area of about 30,000 sq ft and houses about 600 species of plants. The garden is divided into several zones based on the various species of plants. Some of the most attractive zones of the Secret Garden include the Rainforest Zone and the Victoria Amazonica Zone.
Fruit trees, cacti, succulents, tillandsias, palms, flowers, climbers, herbs, and spices are some of the plant species that are housed inside the garden. The meandering pathways that are constructed between beds of plants are quite attractive. Further, the artificial ponds and waterfalls accentuate the beauty of the Secret Garden. Guided tours are also available during the first weekend of the month.
