This two-storey museum features works of local Penangite artists that describes the spirit of Penang via its wall canvases, miniature dioramas and 3D interactive trick arts.

Sheltered in one of the historic buildings of Penang built-in 1891, Made in Penang Interactive Museum is located in the Behn Meyer Building at Weld Quay in George Town. The museum has perfected the art of crafting spots to pose for the wackiest of photos opportunities. The Made in Penang Interactive Museum showcases the amalgamation of history and culture of Penang Island in form of 30 interesting isometric artwork via 3D wall paintings, murals, and dioramas set in a pleasant musical environment. Tourists can also spot some miniature scale models of Penang and watch a movie reflecting upon the history and culture of the Island. The top attractions are:

Great Wall of Penang– The grand entrance of the museum is marked by a whimsical huge wall painting of the Penang that ushers the glimpses of Weld Quay’s prosperous past of the city. This section of the museum is called The Great Wall of Penang that lends you a good learning experience about Penang’s culture.

Miniature World- Inside the Museum, one can spot different miniatures sculptures of famous local traders and Weld Quay that reflect upon the stories about Penang’s history and its development.

3D Trick Art Gallery– Inspired by famous landmarks, traditions, and foundations of Penang, the local Penangite artists have turned this space of the museum into a Real-life mind trickery art gallery. The Made in Penang Interactive Museum is located near the Weld Quay Bus Terminal which is accessible through various CAT free bus shuttle service from the Penang Island.

One can also hire a taxi to drop you at the entrance of the museum from any part of Penang Island. One side fare for Taxi from Penang Airport to Made in Penang Interactive Museum in George Town is close to RM 45 to RM 55. One can book a cab using Grab app.

The bus shuttle service from the Penang Airport to the Museum costs RM 1 to RM 4 per head.
