The Liberty Statue can be reached on a ferry that takes you across the Eliis Island and around the Liberty Island. You don't realise how big the statue really is until you are close enough to it. Tho (Read More)se looking to climb the statue can do so by getting off at Liberty Island. The statue is magnificent and its history, even more so. The ferry can be boarded at Battery Park in New York city and other ferries operate from the Liberty State Park in New Jersey.
