Tokugawa Ieyasu built this in the 1610s, and firebombing destroyed most of it in 1945. What you come for now is the reconstructed Honmaru Palace, its cypress rooms and reproduced screen paintings opened in 2018. The main keep has been closed since that year on earthquake-safety grounds, with no confirmed reopening date, so the golden roof dolphins are visible only from the grounds.
