The rock is straightforward to climb, and it is a kid-friendly activity. You have to cross the 50 feet in the water, and there are stairs to take you to the top of the rock. The water near the Parrot Rock is also suitable for swimming for people of all ages due to the gentle waves and lesser depth.

Tips while Visiting Parrot Rock

The visitors have to cross the water to get to the rock and getting wet is inevitable. The water is about waist length high so preferably carry a change of clothes. Also, try to take a waterproof bag to protect your belongings. The rock is free from the crowd throughout the day but gets very crowded during sunset time. If you plan on taking pictures, visit the Parrot Rock earlier during the day. The place is very sunny, and visitors are advised to carry sunglasses and wear sunscreen for protection.
