Parrot Rock in Mirissa is a stunning location opposite Secret Beach. It is a red-colored rock formation that can be crossed from the secret Beach during the low tide. On reaching the rock, you need to climb a step of stairs to reach the top. Even though it is popular to visit during the sunset, you can visit early morning to avoid the crowd.
Parrot Rock is just about 50 feet from the Mirissa Beach shore and visitors have to walk through the water to reach the rock. However, the journey is undoubtedly worth it as the scenery from the top is magnificent. You can even witness the sunrise or sunset from this place. It is a great place to relax, watch the sea, and enjoy a peaceful evening.
Tips : Check the tide timings before visiting, as low tide is the safest time to cross over to the rock. It is dangerous to cross over during high tide.
