Considered as one of the most sought after treks in North India, this 2 day trek offers a rejuvenating experience in all. We reached Dharamshala,Himachal Pradesh around 4:45am and took a taxi to Mcle (Read More)odganj, visiting Dalai Lama monaestary on our way and had a glimpse of tibetian Buddhist culture. After having breakfast at a tibetian Cafe, we made our way further to a rest house in Dharamkot. We began with the trek around 11:30 am for the next point, Gallu Devi temple. One can even take a taxi to Gallu temple from Mcleodganj. The Triund trail begins from this point and is not very steep initially and has multiple stalls offering various eatables but the price keeps on increasing as we move forward. The last kilometer, known as 22 curves is quite challenging but once conquered, scenic beauty the top-hill offers held us spellbound. The best part about visiting Triund in summers is star gazing when you really cannot take your eyes off the night sky. Next day, we woke up at the time of Sunrise around 6:30 am, had pranthas for breakfast and created memories that will last a lifetime.
