Marmaris National Park, Marmaris Overview
Marmaris National Park is famously recognised for its yacht tourism and rich flora. And not just that but much fauna too like - red squirrels, weasels, bears, foxes, lynxes, martens, jackals, hedgehogs and pigs.
The park has many protected areas and is well-maintained. There are two quiet and pristine beaches right outside the land of the park. Marmaris National Park is also historic evidence as the ancient cities of Physkos (Marmaris) and Amos (Hisaronu) once used to reside here. It was known as the Caria region, a harbour in the past.
