Also known as mini Switzerland, Khajjiar in Himachal Pradesh is a small hill station enveloped by lush green meadows and forests, and majestic mountain peaks. Besides exploring the area, the camping experience includes a trek from Barapatthar to Panjpulla, zip-lining, bird watching, going on a Burma bridge, and having meals around a campfire while enjoying peaceful music. The vast open spaces are ideal for setting up camp, and the lake nearby, known as Khajjiar Lake, provides natural beauty. There is also a temple of Khajji Nag on-site, called the Golden Devi Temple, built in the 12th century AD.
