Believed to represent the five Pandava brothers and their wife Draupadi, the Panch Pandav Tree is Khajjiar; Himachal Pradesh is a popular tourist spot owing to its association with Mahabharata. It is a deodar tree with a common root but has a base split into six parts and attracts large crowds to pay their respects to this “holy” tree. Located nearby is another deodar tree with a common root but a base split into 15 parts, known as the Mother of the Panch Pandav Tree.
