Panch Pandav Tree, Khajjiar Overview

Believed to represent the five Pandava brothers and their wife Draupadi, the Panch Pandav Tree is Khajjiar; Himachal Pradesh is a popular tourist spot owing to its association with Mahabharata. It is a deodar tree with a common root but has a base split into six parts and attracts large crowds to pay their respects to this “holy” tree. Located nearby is another deodar tree with a common root but a base split into 15 parts, known as the Mother of the Panch Pandav Tree. The grounds on which the trees stand are excellent for picnics since everything is calm, and they provide a view of the surrounding peaks
