Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Idukki Overview

Located on the Kochi-Madurai Highway (NH 49) between Munnar and Kochi in Idukki district, Kerala, Cheeyappara Falls is one of the larger waterfalls in the state, cascading through seven tiers of rock. Visitors can get close to the falls and dip their feet in. The surrounding evergreen forest, stretching about two acres around the falls, makes the area popular for trekking, and is home to a variety of plants and animals.
