Gopachal Parvat is famous for its 7th- and 15th-century rock-cut Jain monuments, dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras including Adinatha, Mahavir, Neminatha, and Rishabhanatha, whose idols are carved in a meditative posture. The site is part of a group of around 100 such monuments located in and around the city.
