Canopy Walkway, Guyana Overview

Canopy Walkway is a perfect way to explore the wilderness of Guyana with spectacular bird's-eye of its dense forest.

Located 60 km south of the field station, the Canopy Walkway is a group of suspension bridges hanging 30 m above the forest floor. The bridges offer its visitors enchanting panoramic views of Iwokrama rainforest over which the bridges are suspended. This forest is one of the countryƕs largest as well most dense forest packed with towering trees and features some spectacular forms of flora and fauna including the native greenheart trees, high-dwelling red howler monkeys and plenty of birds.
