There are no direct flights from India to the Gold Coast. All flights from India either have one or two stop overs, depending on the airlines you have chosen. Air India operates direct flights from New Delhi to Sydney, from where you take another flight to the Gold Coast. Otherwise, several other airlines operate from India's major international airports to Gold Coast via south east Asia and then Sydney.
The Gold Coast Airport, located in Coolangatta, connects the Gold Coast to almost all Australian cities and also to some locations in Asia. You will need connecting flights from other locations. Also, it is not a 24 hour airport.

Rail services connect the Gold Coast to nearby cities very well such as from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and others. If you are travelling from Western Australia you will need to change trains when you enter NSW or Queensland.
Viable bus routes into the Gold Coast are available only from nearby cities such as Brisbane. While bus routes from cities such as Sydney and Newcastle are available, they are far more expensive and also slower than taking a flight.
