Lake Saiko, Fujikawaguchiko Overview
The quiet one. No resort strip, deep water and forest down to the shoreline, which makes it the answer if Kawaguchiko feels too busy. It shares its surface level with Motosu and Shoji because the three were a single lake until lava divided them in the 860s, and they are still thought to be joined underground. A salmon presumed extinct since 1935 was found here again in 2010.
